Method of preparation:

Sift wheat flour in a bowl together with the baking powder. Then add the poppy seeds, powdered sugar, egg, oil and milk and mix all the ingredients well until you get a smooth dough.

Line a tray with baking paper and pour the previously prepared dough. You can also grease the pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.

While the dough is in the oven, prepare the cream. Vanilla pudding mix with 3 tablespoons of sugar. Pour the cherry juice into a pot, put it on the stove over low heat, then add the pudding powder mixed with sugar. In 5 minutes you should get a thick pudding. Leave to cool and mix occasionally.

Heat the cherry jam until it becomes liquid, then mix with the previously prepared pudding. When the top in the oven has baked, leave it to cool, then cut it in half, lengthwise.

Place the first top on a flat tray, add the cream with jam, level well and cover with the second top. Powder with powdered sugar. Good appetite and increase cooking!

Vanilla cream is very easy to make. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl until the sugar melts completely. Add the flour and at the end the milk falls. Put everything on the fire, on a low flame, and stir so that it doesn't catch. Add the vanilla essence. The cream thickens quickly and becomes consistent. At the end, when it is well enough bound, add the butter and set aside. Keep stirring. The vanilla cream must be very well cooled before using it.

The roll with jam and vanilla cream is easy to assemble. Spread the worktop and remove the paper carefully. In a bowl, mix the jam with a tablespoon of water or milk so that it can be easily spread on the counter. Put vanilla cream on top and roll. Cut off the ends and powder the roll with a little sugar. I have already prepared many of these sweets, but I have not finished their list yet, so now I take advantage of the challenge of August and I show you the simplest and greatest roll with jam. This roll was not missing on our anniversaries, only the type of jam was different each time. That's how it seemed to me when I was little, that's how I find it now & # 8230

INGREDIENT:

For the countertop:
6 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
grated peel from a small lemon

For the filling:
400 g apricot jam

Mix the egg whites with the sugar until they become a hard foam, like meringue. Add the yolks one by one, mixing lightly, then the lemon essence and peel.

We incorporate the flour with easy movements, with the help of a tel. Pour the dough into the oven tray, lined with baking paper and bake it in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 10-12 minutes. After this interval, remove the tray and turn the top over on a lightly damp towel.

Carefully remove the baking paper and place another damp towel over the counter. Leave the countertop in this way for about an hour, then take the towel that covers the countertop and grease it with jam.

Using the towel that remained under the counter, we rolled the counter. We wrap it in an aluminum foil or cellophane, and let the roll cool for at least 2 hours.

Before serving the roll, we cover it with powdered sugar, or we dress it in whipped cream, depending on what we have at hand.


Roll with vanilla cream

Place the dough in the pan, level the spoon a little and bake. I immediately raised the temperature to 180 celsius. It's ready in ten minutes! Prepare a kitchen napkin moistened and squeezed well, turn the tray over and immediately roll the pandispan with napkin with everything. After a few minutes it can fill up according to your imagination (it doesn't have to cool down). This time I filled the roll with vanilla cream and cherry jam!

Finally I tried a roll recipe, of course a Dukan roll recipe with filling. And because New Year's Eve is approaching, I thought it was a good recipe to prepare it for you, but also for your family. I made it this time with cherry flavor, but you can try any flavor you want or make it with chocolate cream (Nutella Dukan).

Cruise Phase, Consolidation

-4-5 tablespoons cooking-resistant sweetener

Beat the egg whites until stiff with a little salt. In another bowl, mix the yolks with the sweetener and vanilla essence. Add the yolks a little in the egg white foam and continue to mix. Then remove the mixer and continue with a wooden spoon or a spatula. Pour the cornstarch in the rain and stir constantly so that it doesn't become lumpy. At the end we add the baking powder. We take a larger tray (mine is 29 x 33 cm) and grease it with a napkin on which we poured a few drops of oil. Then pour the composition and level it with a spatula in the whole tray. Put it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees and leave it for 10-15 minutes (look at its color).

After baking comes the most difficult part. While it is still hot, try to peel off the tray with a thin spatula. It doesn't matter if it breaks in some places because we'll run it anyway anyway.

-250 gr of skim cheese (I used 0.2% Dairy)

We mix the skimmed cheese together with the sweetener (put according to our own taste) until a very fine paste is made. Then add the cherry essence (also to taste) and 2 drops of food coloring.

Spread this cream well on the counter, level it with a spatula and then roll the top covered with cream.

We keep the roll cold and it is consumed immediately after it has been taken out of the fridge.

Instead of this cream you can make the roll with chocolate cream-Nutella Dukan, if you prefer chocolate. You can also make a glaze to spread over the roll!


Eggplant roll with vanilla cream

Eggplant roll with vanilla cream it's my last dessert. Because I had some frozen egg whites, I thought of making a roll. I didn't have a recipe, I just improvised and it turned out very well.

This roll can be filled with any cream you want: chocolate, caramel, fruit mascarpone, etc. Because we are fans of vanilla cream, I said to try it, because I usually used whipped cream and mascarpone more in rolls.

So in this recipe you can use egg whites and cream yolks. That's how I made some sheets for pavlova that I stored in a metal box for two or three days.

Wheat ingredient:

  • 5 egg whites
  • 125 old
  • 100g flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 drop of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Vanilla cream ingredient:

  • 450ml milk
  • 75 g old
  • 4 yolks
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
  • 50g butter
  • 150g strawberries

Preparation of rolled egg whites with vanilla cream:

If we use frozen egg whites, as I used, I leave them to thaw at room temperature.

We prepare a stove tray and cover it with baking paper, which I also greased with a few drops of oil.

Turn on the oven at 175-180 degrees Celsius.

The egg whites are mixed with sugar and salt. Then add the sifted cocoa, flour and baking powder. Sprinkle a little and incorporate with a spatula, stirring gently from the bottom up.

Pour the dough into the tray and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.

When the roll sheet is baked, take it out of the tray with the baking paper and place it on a wooden countertop for a few minutes, until it cools down. Then roll it gently with paper. This way we will be able to run more easily when we fill it.

For the vanilla cream, mix the yolks together with the sugar and starch in a stainless steel pan. In another pan put the milk on low heat. When it gets hot, pour a little over the first composition. Stir vigorously with the aim so as not to become lumpy. The obtained composition is put on low heat and mixed until it thickens.

Set the pan aside and mix the cream to cool slightly. Add the butter and vanilla extract and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

The fruits are washed and placed on napkins to quickly absorb water. Strawberries for the interior are cut into small cubes, and the others into slices or halves.

Spread the vanilla cream with a spatula over the roll sheet and then sprinkle the diced strawberries. Leave 1-2 tablespoons of cream that we will use for the outside.

It runs easily, but quite firmly. After rolling, a strip of cream is spread along the length of the roll in order to fix the fruits for decoration. They are placed so as to make sockets with the cream on top.

At the end, powder with powdered sugar and leave to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting.

The egg white roll with vanilla cream is a homemade dessert only good to enjoy with the family on a Sunday. The fruits bring a note of freshness and greatly improve the appearance of the roll.
