Rice with spinach

This rice with spinach recipe is very quick, easy to make and delicious. It goes eaten simply or as a garnish for steaks and is only good if you are fasting or if you are a vegetarian.

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 onion
  • ½ red pepper
  • 200 g of rice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 300 g fresh spinach
  • 1 cube vegetable seasoning
  • 700 ml of hot water
  • Salt, pepper, basil

We clean and wash the vegetables then we cut the onion and the pepper into cubes.

Put the oil in a saucepan, add the onion and sauté for 4 minutes, add the pepper and continue to sauté for another minute, then add the rice and continue to sauté for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly so that it doesn't stick.

On top we put the hot water together with all the spices and continue to boil everything for another 12-15 minutes.

At the end we add the spinach and continue to cook everything for another 2-3 minutes, enough to incorporate all the spinach (which is quite bulky at first) in the rice.

After so many sweets, I think it's time for a soup to appear on the blog.
This soup is the result of an evening gathering of some ingredients that felt lonely in the refrigerator. Together they formed a delicious zama, therefore they deserve to be praised for their efforts.
This recipe is in accordance with the Dukan diet - PL days.

Ingredient:
- 300g fresh spinach
- A small salad
- a medium onion (+ a thin sprig of green onion)
- 1 large carrot
- 1/2 medium celery root
- 1/2 root of parsnip
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 150 ml of milk 1.5% fat
- salt

I boiled 2 liters of water.
I cut the roots into cubes, I cut the onion into small pieces, and I cut the spinach and salad into thin strips.
